Materials

For each team of 3 students:

• 1 eye dropper
• 1 plastic spoon
• 1 100 mL or 50 mL graduated cylinder
• shallow tray or bowl
• access to tap water and sink
• 50 mL vegetable oil
• 1 250 mL beaker for waste
• access to stopwatch or sweep second hand
• 3 pairs of safety goggles
• 3 copies of Master 3-3, Recovery Time Data Table
• metric ruler
