Evaluate: Designing the Fuel

Materials

For the entire class:

• meterstick or other device for measuring length
• assortment of different-sized index cards
• sheets of 1/8 in. thick foam
• 1 roll of transparent tape
• glue
• pens or pencils of different colors

For each team of 2 students:

• 1 pill bottle with a snap cap
• 1 pair of scissors
• several fizzing antacid tablets
• 1 bottle of water
• 1 100 mL graduated cylinder
• 1 Fuel Design Report master
